The "Eggson Valdez" accident was an oil spilling catastrophy in 1989. The ship was ripped open by a reef, contaminating the sea with 37.000 metric tons of oil. Just imagine how many fried eggs you could cook in that amount of spilled oil! But what a pitty: Most of the egglaying seabirds died a horrible death in just that oil....
