f4-u Corsair
Hasegawa modelkit
The Vought f4-u Corsair appears proudly in the line of the best fighters in WW2. With the inverted gull wings, the plane was able to absorb the thrust of a large diameter propeller, driven by a powerful engine. Equipped like this, the corsair was the first fighterplane to reach 400 mph. It serviced after WW2 in the corean war as a ground attack fighter. Its career in the french navy lasted even to 1964.
